Where should I fly C‑me for the first time?

Your first flight should be outdoors, in an open area. Flying outside ensures you get the best GPS signal so C‑me stays on course.

neighborhood park free of nearby obstructions

A good outdoor location...

  • Is free of obstacles, crowds, trees, power lines and animals.
  • Allows for quick, safe landings if need.
  • Has a strong GPS signal from at least 7 GPS satellites.
  • Has no magnetic interference.

Tip: take off from flat surfaces that will not cause magnetic interference. Avoid concrete patios with rebar, metal tables, car surfaces, metal railings, etc.
