How to fly C-me.

Best Place to Fly

Choose an open outdoor space for your first few flights.

Do NOT fly in the following environments:

  • Poor weather conditions (heavy cloud cover or winds over 10mph (16km).
  • Close to tall buildings, metal objects and large fencing.
  • Over water.
  • Next to or between large trees.
  • Electrical lines and metal towers.
  • Areas where there are a lot of people, phones, or heavy Wi‑Fi.

Unfold

Extend the arms.
The arms fold up and are stored inside pockets on the sides of C-me.
Open completely.
You will here a click when the arms are fully extended.

Attach the Propeller Guards

Slide a prop guard onto each arm.
There is a notch on the end of the arm to slide the prop guard post into.
Push down into place
The post on the prop guard slide down into the notch on the arm.

Turn On

Push power button and hold until green light appears.
The green light shines through the power button and a pinhole next to the power button.

Connect

In your mobile device Wi-Fi Settings connect to C-me_******.
The password is: 12345678.
You can do this now.
Your phone's network connection screen should indicate Wi-Fi is on and list your C-me's network id

Get Ready to Fly

Place C-me on the ground with the camera pointing towards you.

Unlock

Tap and hold the Lock to unlock the Take Off button.
The lock icon is located near the bottom of the screen just above the Take Off button.

Calibration

When prompted, follow the calibration video on your mobile device.

Flying Modes

Choose to fly outdoors or indoors.
Caution: 7+ Satellites are needed for safe outdoor flight.  Select Outdoor Mode or Indoor Mode.

Outdoor Mode

Ready to fly after C-me detects reliable GPS.
The satellite receiver icon in your app will turn green when a reliable signal is acquired.

Indoor mode

Caution — C-me will drift when flying in indoor mode.
Caution:  C-me will drift with the wind when not using satellites.  This mode is best for flying indoors or when satellites are blocked by objects.  Cancel or Continue.

Take Off

Tap Take Off. C-me will rise and hover.
The Take Off button is located at the bottom center of the screen.  It is green when unlocked and ready to fly.

Altitude Adjustment

Move Slider to change altitude.
Altitude slider slides up and down and moves C-me up and down.

Control Flight Direction

Move the control for the direction you want to travel.
Flight Direction control is a circle with arrows.  It directs C-me to the left, right, away from you and towards you.

Take a Picture

Use camera or video controls to capture your image.
Tap the camera icon to take a photo.  Tap the red/white circle to start video recording.

Frame Your Subject

Swipe the screen to move the subject into view.
The area of the screen between the altitude adjustment and flight direction control is used to turn the camera and bring the subject into view.

Photo Tip

Selfie quality is best within 10 feet (3 M).

Land

Tap to land.
The land button appears after take-off in the bottom center of the screen.

C-me will
  • rise to avoid obstacles,
  • move towards the launch point,
  • land.
Landing Outdoors

Emergency

Tap to land quickly anywhere!

Tap and "hold" to shut down motors immediately.

The red emergency button appear at the top center of the screen.
